The Evangelization Ministry was formed in response to Jesus’ command to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...” (Matthew 28:19). Evangelization is the act of sharing the Christian gospel, or "Good News", with others, especially through words and actions. It's a central mission of the Catholic Church and a calling for all disciples of Christ. Evangelization includes inspiring Catholics to a renewal of their faith as well as reaching out to those who have little or no faith and those who are seeking the truth. Our motto is simply “reach and teach.” Every baptized Christian is called to share their faith with others, thus helping to build the Kingdom of God. The Evangelization Ministry has five areas of focus:

The Welcome Committee will welcome new people into our parish via phone calls and/or parish announcements. Currently creating a new “welcome” packet.

Adult Formation is dedicated to the ongoing Catholic education of our parish members with offerings opened to other deanery churches as well.

Our Special Events team will plan and host retreats, workshops, and events . These may include activities related to the liturgical season, Mission/Revival related activities/presentations and social events.

● Marriage Milestones and Scout recognition
● Advent/Lenten/Pentecost Missions
● Eucharistic Miracles/Relic Displays

Our Communications team will assess the needs of parishioners as well as work with the parish Communications Director on resources and content via social media, website, and bulletin.

The Bilingual Liaison will coordinate programs/events between English and Spanish communities as needed.
